From brand-new lots waiting for their first blade of grass to hillside properties that need serious grading solutions, Avalawn turns Lehi yards into outdoor spaces worth coming home to.

Much of Lehi sits on heavy clay soil that drains slowly and cracks in the summer heat. Wind rips across the open west side. Benched lots along Traverse Mountain come with slopes that eat up usable yard space. And with new homes going up faster than almost anywhere in Utah, thousands of homeowners are staring at bare dirt with an HOA landscaping deadline on the calendar.
That's the environment we build for. Avalawn plans every project around your specific lot, including its grade, soil, sun exposure, and how you actually want to use the space. We'll tell you honestly what will thrive on your property and what won't, then install it to last.
Took advantage of the winter discount on their filters and it saved us a ton of money on our irrigation revitalization project. We have been wanting to get our sprinklers up and running ever since we moved in but have never been able to fit it in our budget until now. Very fair pricing and a great crew to back it up.
If you have secondary water, you know the battle with your pressure. Luckily Kordell had just the right solution to fix my pressure issue in my back yard zone. They were in and out in a day with nothing left behind except a perfectly working system. Super pleased with the crew over at Avalawn.
We did our project in these months to save some money, and even in the freezing weather, the crew showed up with a great attitude. They were able to make our whole yard water wise in just a week. Xeriscaping some areas due to inefficiencies and overhauling the whole sprinkler system. 10/10 times would recommend these guys to take care of any of your irrigation needs.
Davin and Kordell (and crew) are the hardest workers! They turned my 200 foot back fence into a low maintenance beauty. Worked with me when adding/changing stuff. Kordell is very knowledgeable and saved me from having to replace the 9 trees I bought because we have secondary water. Got it done quick. AvaLawn went the extra mile to repair my fountain pump while adding some water lines that the original installer neglected to add. Kordell knew his stuff about fountains too! I would highly recommend!
We had Avalawn do our drip system, removal of a water feature, and install rock in all the boarders and beds. I can’t say enough good things about how well they did! They took a run down yard and made it look amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice. I will be referring them to anyone I know who is shopping for anything yard related. They were prompt and efficient. We have future projects we are saving up for and we will use them again!! Thank you so much Avalawn
We’ve had a persistent issue with our fountain for three summers and two other companies couldn’t figure it out. Kordell came out and pinpointed the issue super fast. He knew his stuff when it came to water features. While he was here he fixed our drip line that we didn’t even know had a leak. I’ve worked with plenty of contractors in my day but it's rare to find one that actually wants to help rather than doing the bare minimum. I highly recommend Avalawn!
I had Avalawn clean our waterfall, empty the reservoir tank and make sure our pump was working properly Eric did a wonderful job cleaning and refreshing the waterfall after years of buildup and yuck. It looks beautiful! He even went so far as to rearrange the rocks so that it sounded much more pleasing. They were easy to work with, and pricing was more than fair. I will definitely use them again.
It depends on the scope and the season, but most full installations take one to two weeks once we start. If you're up against an HOA or city landscaping deadline, tell us the date, and we'll build the schedule around it.
Plenty, with the right prep. We amend planting areas so roots can actually establish, then choose plants proven along the Wasatch Front. Think serviceberry, Karl Foerster grasses, catmint, daylilies, and drought-hardy shrubs. The prep work matters more than the plant list, and it's where we don't cut corners.
Sloped lots are one of our specialties. Depending on the grade, we can terrace the yard with retaining walls, build stepped planting beds, or combine a flat entertaining area with landscaped slopes. Done right, a hillside lot often has more character than a flat one.
It's a real factor, and we plan for it. That means properly staking young trees, choosing wind-tolerant species, using heavier ground cover where mulch would blow away, and positioning plantings to create natural windbreaks over time.
No. Most of our Lehi projects land somewhere in the middle. A smaller, well-placed lawn for kids and pets, paired with xeriscaped beds and drip irrigation everywhere else, can dramatically reduce water use without giving up green space. We'll show you options at both ends of the spectrum.
We do the whole system, including design, trenching, valves, heads, drip lines, and a smart controller if you want one. Irrigation is the backbone of the landscape, so we'd rather install it ourselves than work around someone else's layout.
